Inflation is when the dollar doesn’t buy as many goods or services because there are more dollars chasing fewer services.

Deflation is when the values of homes continue to go down. Most are due to the credit crisis and there is more supply than there is a demand.

Stagnation is when you have inflation and at the same time, you don’t have income growth.
